Head Start Spirit Week a Fun Success

Head Start awareness month took place nationally throughout the month of October. ACCORD Head Start celebrated Head Start awareness with a spirit week from October 24, 2022, to October 28, 2022. During this week staff and children participated in the following theme days:

Monday: Head Start Day

Wear the Head Start colors of red and blue to support our Head Start staff.

Tuesday: Crazy Hair and Sock Day

We like to have fun and be silly at Head Start! Come to school with crazy hair and socks.

Wednesday: Bee Day

At ACCORD, our Head Start motto is to Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Here. Wear yellow for Bee Day!

Thursday: Pajama Day

We always want everyone to feel comfortable at Head Start. Let’s have a pajama day!

Friday: Opposite day

Students come to school dressed like your teacher, teachers come to school dressed like your students

ACCORD Head Start shared daily photo collages of each spirit day on ACCORD Corporation’s Facebook page. The children in program and the staff at the centers joined in on all of the fun to raise awareness for Head Start. We would like to thank our Head Start staff for the difference they make in children’s lives every day.
